Carter Williamson (15) has been an umpire for 4 years, and did his first AAA tournament this year in Portage during the Canada Day weekend. He has been Mentoring with a local Parkland umpire this season, and he plans to umpire when his home town of Dauphin hosts the 2020 MB Hydro Summer Games.

"Carter is reliable, knowledgeable and fair. He is clear and loud when he is umping a game and the parents and players always know what the call is and what the count is. He has started mentoring with a Senior Umpire here in Dauphin and is eager to learn with every game he umps. Carter won the Junior Umpire of the year in 2017," said his nominator.

Congratulations again to the very deserving Umpire Carter Williamson.
