Coach of the Month for June 2019

Baseball Manitoba would like to congratulate Ed Kulyk on winning the Winnipeg Goldeyes Coach of the Month for June 2019. Kulyk coached for the Elmwood Giants in 2017.

"He dedicates his summers to the sport and has been coaching with the Giants for the last few years. He spends his free time at the field making sure the diamonds are immaculate, and helps run tournaments. He also coaches his daughters fastball team, the Manitoba Thunder. He is passionate about developing aspiring ball players. In 2016 he coached the junior league champs and went on to represent Manitoba at the Junior Nationals in Gatineau. In 2018 he coached the 2018 League champs, sweeping the St. James A's in 3 games. Currently his team is leading the junior league with a 15-2 record," said his nominator. 

Congratulations again to the very deserving Coach Ed Kulyk.
