Jack Hrehirchuk Passing
Jack Hrehirchuk, a long-time member of the Baseball Manitoba community, has passed away.

Jack was an original director of the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and contributed tirelessly, especially in the area of finance and registration at the Induction dinners. He played Senior Baseball for six years with Grandview, Gilbert Plains and Dauphin, and was also involved in Minor and Senior Baseball in Dauphin as a player, coach, and umpire. He was on the Executive of the Dauphin Minor Baseball League, including a term as President during this 30-year period. Jack also served on the Executive of the Dauphin Redbirds and umpired in the M.S.B.L. for ten years.
He served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame for 4 years, and was inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Honor Society in 2005 and the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.
He also played a Major role in Dauphin as a coach, administrator and referee in hockey and community affairs.
