Baseball Manitoba/Winnipeg Goldeyes Coaches of the Month for 2024 - National Coaches Week
All of us at Baseball Manitoba would like to congratulate the following three individuals for being selected as the 2024 Baseball Manitoba - Winnipeg Goldeyes Coaches of the Month for May, June, and July.
Coach of the Month - May: Coleman Lytwyn
Coach Coleman is picture on the left.
Coached the Dauphin Rally Cap (ages 4-7) Green Team in 2024
"Coleman was the perfect coach for the Green team. He focused on the athlete's skills and made the game fun for everyone. The kids were excited to go to practice and games with Coach Cole. He even got the team trophies at the end of the season to congratulate them on their first year of baseball! He’s a true winner." said his nominator.
Coach of the Month - June: Luc Jubinville

Coached the 15U A Dakota Team in 2024
"The number one reason why Luc Jubinville is an awesome coach is because he puts his whole heart into coaching the team, and genuinely cares about each player as an individual. He has a real passion for baseball and for coaching, but more importantly, he is genuinely interested in encouraging and building up the confidence of each individual athlete. He helps the players to recognize their strengths while improving their weaknesses, helping them reach their full potential. As much as Luc takes an interest in the players, he also genuinely cares about his Assistant Coaches, and involves them in all the decision making for the team. Luc Jubinville is an awesome coach with a real heart of gold!" said his nominator.
Coach of the Month - July: Scott Montgomery

Coached the 11U A South Winnipeg Trailblazers 1 Team in 2024
"In 2024, Coach Scott led the 11U A South Winnipeg Trailblazers 1 team to a 23-3 overall record, advancing to City Championships and Provincial Championships, which is the first time that has ever happened in his community centre's history. He is a tremendous coach who devotes his time and energy to making each kid on the team feel like they are contributing to the team's overall success. He cares about each player and his ultimate goal is to create a positive environment for the kids to fall in love with the game." said his nominator.
Congratulations to Coleman, Luc, and Scott, and thank you for all that you do for your community from all of us at Baseball Manitoba!
