Baseball Canada Launches Women in Baseball - Administration and Leadership Workshop Series

OTTAWA - Baseball Canada is proud to introduce the Women in Baseball - Administration and Leadership Workshop Series, a new initiative designed to empower women pursuing administrative and leadership roles in the sport. This workshop series will provide participants with essential skills, insights, and networking opportunities, helping to cultivate a strong pipeline of female leaders shaping the future of baseball at all levels.

Through interactive workshops and networking sessions, participants will gain the tools and confidence needed to excel in decision-making positions within the baseball community. Even for those unable to attend scheduled sessions, involvement in this program provides the invaluable benefit of connecting with like-minded women committed to advancing the sport.

The program will feature three workshops in 2025, throughout the next three months, tailored to the needs and interests of participants. Sessions will leverage existing resources and industry expertise, alongside dedicated networking opportunities, to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. All sessions will be recorded and shared with the participants. The dates and times are as follows:

• April 13^th - 2pm EST
• May 4^th - 6pm EST
• May 25^th - 6pm EST

Participants will also have access to Baseball Canada’s Mighty Networks platform, which has already been successfully implemented in the Women in Coaching program, fostering an engaged and supportive community of female coaches across the country.
