2025-26 Female Winter Training Program

Baseball Manitoba is proud to offer an off-season training program tailored for high performance female athletes preparing for the upcoming provincial team season.

Training sessions will be held 2-3 times a month from November 2025 through March 2026.

Registration is now open for 2026 sessions.

2026 Sessions

• Times: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Locations: Sport for Life Centre (Winnipeg) and Central Plains RecPlex (Southport)
• Eligibility: Female athletes born 2005-12
• Cost: $300

Schedule (8 Sessions):

• January 10 - Winnipeg
• January 17 - Southport
• January 31 - Winnipeg
• February 7 - Southport
• February 21 - Winnipeg
• February 28 - Southport
• March 14 - Winnipeg
• March 21 - Southport

Session Format

Sport for Life training sessions will include:

• 90-minute Baseball Workout
• 75-minute Strength & Conditioning Workout

Southport training sessions will focus primarily on baseball skills.

Program Highlights

• Baseball training led by Baseball Manitoba Provincial Team coaches
• Strength and Conditioning led by Sport Manitoba's Performance Team
• Access to turfed batting cages and state-of-the-art Performance Gym
• Small group format for personalized instruction
• Focus on building strength, agility, and baseball-specific performance
