The 2019 21U Women's Invitational Championships were this past weekend in Ottawa, Ontario. Baseball Manitoba's 21U Women's Provincial Team attended and came home with the Bronze medal. All of us at Baseball Manitoba want to congratulate the team on a great weekend of baseball.

"We started this tournament a bit slow, errors and silent bats contributed to a tough start. But each game we managed to get better and better, girls stepped up and took charge a bit to set the tone. I felt we peaked at the right time and eliminated errors and started to have quality at bats. A couple of great pitching performances by Brittany Langlais (advanced us to medal round) and Jamie Johnson (No-Hitter in the Bronze medal game) capped off a great medal run to bring home a bronze. We relied on a great core group of ladies that have been the guts of our past teams in women's ball (16U and 21U) that have paced us with four medals in the past six years stretching from 16U into 21U. This is the first medal from our women's program at the 21U level and was a great stepping stone. I am extremely proud of this group," said Jeremy Culleton, the 21U Women's Provincial Team's Head Coach.
