2021 Award Nominations are now Open!
Baseball Manitoba is proud to present its 2021 Awards Ceremony honouring our best athletes, coaches, officials, teams, volunteers, and honorary members for their performances and/or contributions to the sport of baseball. We invite all coaches, umpires, league presidents, regional directors, and executive members to nominate those individuals who deserve recognition for their performance over the past year. All nominees must be affiliated with Baseball Manitoba.
The nomination deadline is October 20, 2021
Nominations are now open for the following categories:
- 13U Player of the Year
- 15U Player of the Year
- 18U Player of the Year
- 21U Player of the Year
- Senior Player of the Year
- Female Player of the Year
- Challenger Player of the Year
- Grassroots Coach of the Year
- High Performance Coach of the Year
- Grassroots Team of the Year
- High Performance Minor Team of the Year
- High Performance Major Team of the Year
- Derrick Dubbell Grassroots Umpire of the Year
- Ron Shewchuk High Performance Umpire of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Honour Society
- Larry Nichols Umpire Award of Merit (This award is chosen by the Umpire Committee.)
Awards Ceremony Details:
Date: Saturday, November 6, 2021
Location: Holiday Inn Winnipeg - Airport West
Schedule: 12PM - 4PM
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this event is invite only. Recipients will receive more information closer to the event date. All in attendance may be asked to show proof of double vaccination.
