The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame announced their 2023 inductees today. Among the four individuals is Joe Wiwchar, a long-time dedicated coach, volunteer, executive, and Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee from Morden, MB. The other inductees are Jesse Barfield, Denis Boucher, and Rich Harden.
"When I was received the call from Scott letting me know that I was being inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, I had to sit down. I was speechless. I was both surprised and elated. I’m still in disbelief, but I am very grateful for this honour.” said Joe Wiwchar. Quote source.
