2023 22U Men's Championship Event RECAP

The 2023 22U Men's Championships were this past weekend in Stonewall, Manitoba. All of us at Baseball Manitoba want to congratulate all participating teams on a great weekend of baseball, and the host committee on another great Baseball Canada National event. Find a recap of the event below.

Thursday, August 3rd

Manitoba's two teams, the Interlake Blue Jays and the Elmwood Giants, each started the weekend off with a win.

Opening Ceremonies 



Baseball Manitoba President, Roger Langlais, starts off the opening ceremonies with a Land Acknowledgement and welcome remarks.

The Interlake Blue Jays played their second game Thursday evening after the Opening Ceremonies.

Interlake Blue Jays Game #5 vs. Ontario 2 - Image Source. This was the host team's final game of the tournament. They finished the event in 6th place, tied with Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan. 

 

Sunday, August 5th
